Taxonomic Characters

To produce a classification of organisms involves comparative data and analysis of data are used as taxonomic characters.

Three (03) different types of data

  1. The organism itself – morphology, cytology, genetics & chemistry
  2. Organism-organism interactions: cytogenetics, reproductive biology
  3. Organism-environment interactions: distribution, ecology

Reflect the structural composition or the architecture of the plant, such as anatomy, morphology and chemistry, Those that refer to the dynamic interactions among the structures (development process, physiology)
