There are two types of statistical errors.
- Type 1 error
- Type 2 error
Type 1 error
Reject the null hypothesis when null hypothesis is true
Type 2 error
Fail to reject the null hypothesis when null hypothesis is false
Type 1 errors are more dangerous than type 2 errors.
